The Knights fell to a third consecutive defeat against Betfred Championship Play-Off rivals on Monday evening with Batley Bulldogs leaving the LNER Community Stadium with the two league points after a 32-16 victory. The Knights fell to a second consecutive Betfred Championship defeat tonight at Halifax Panthers The Shay Stadium in a battle between two of the competition’s play-off contenders. York City Knights produced a heroic defensive display in the second period to leave Cumbria with the two points this evening in front of the Premier Sports cameras, defeating Barrow Raiders 18-30 at Craven Park. For the first twenty minutes of the second period, the Knights had to defend solely in their twenty with the Raiders forcing several repeat sets.
