HOLIDAY CLUB ACTIVITY PROGRAMMES

Summer of Fun

 

The York City Knights Foundation are set for busy summer holiday programme as they will be delivering over 45 sessions during the 6-week school holidays. The aim is not only to inspire the next generation of Knights players, but also to play a vital role in helping make summer more enjoyable. These events are made up of our familiar free, turn up and play outreach community sessions, and a series of day camps which do require advance booking. We now are now able to offer these day camps free of charge to any families who are eligible for free school meals.

Events will be spread across the city to reach out to as many children as possible!

Many of our sessions are free of charge and aim to keep children entertained, active and fed this summer, with free food and drink distributed at these events.

The activities on offer will comprise of inflatable sessions, specific Rugby sessions, multi-sport sessions and day camps. For full details please scroll down to view each event in turn.

Sessions will take place in Acomb, Heworth, Woodthorpe, Dringhouses, Westfield, Clifton, Heworth, Huntington, Strensall and New Earswick to name but a few!

 

All this has been made possible by a number of partners, including City of York Council, the Local Ward Funding Committees, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, North Yorkshire Sport, North Yorkshire Together and Burflex Scaffolding.

Future Knights Inflatable sessions

All Future Knights sessions below consist of:

  • Free Fun for 5 years and up, no need to book, just turn up!
  • Free food and drinks available (priority given to those families eligible for free school meals)

  • Session 1 runs 1:00 -2:30 for 5-11 years
